CA11: Defendant’s vehicle parked outside his house is a reasonable belief he’s home

Officers had an arrest warrant from events that occurred a year earlier involving drug sales from defendant’s home. On all the circumstances, it was reasonable for them to conclude that he would be found there because he had a real job besides that. When they got there, a vehicle registered to him was parked outside. That’s a reasonable belief. United States v. Jackson, 2014 U.S. App. LEXIS 15335 (11th Cir. August 11, 2014).

The evidence showed that the defendants were likely involved in a shooting report when they were seen on a deserted road in the condition they were found in. United States v. Wrensford, 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 110474 (D. V.I. August 11, 2014).*

On the totality, this search was simply by consent. United States v. Chambers, 2014 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 110202 (E.D. Mich. August 11, 2014).*
