Crawford v. Washington does not apply to suppression hearings. “A district court is not bound by the rules of evidence in suppression hearings.” State v. Woinarowicz, 2006 ND 179, 720 N.W.2d 635(August 16, 2006).

PC on possession of drugs does not require a field test first. The officer can make the arrest based on his or her observation and experience. Id.

Failure to use a turn signal did not violate NC law where it affected no other vehicle. Therefore, the stop lacked PC. State v. Ivey, 360 N.C. 562, 633 S.E.2d 459 (August 18, 2006).
