CT: Slight difference between description and actual dress didn’t undermine RS

Defendant’s request to stop by the police based on his description and clothing was still justified despite the slight disagreement between what he was wearing and the description. Reasonable suspicion developed and defendant’s pat down was justified. State v. Lewis, 2017 Conn. App. LEXIS 254 (June 20, 2017).

Defendant’s inability to provide zip code for credit cards at two locations where purchases were denied was reasonable suspicion of credit card fraud when he was found. The vehicle was left parked on a highway and was subject to an inventory, and that resulted in a valid inventory. United States v. Barry, 2017 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 88478 (E.D. Pa. June 7, 2017).*
