Defendant’s call from his child sex offense victim was properly recorded with the child’s consent under state law. People v. Richardson, 2014 COA 50, 2014 Colo. App. LEXIS 687 (April 24, 2014).*

The stop of defendant’s van was justified by an obscured LPN and state. When the officer approached, there was an obvious smell of marijuana that justified expanding the stop. State v. Beal, 21 Neb. App. 939, 2014 Neb. App. LEXIS 86 (April 22, 2014).*
