S.D.N.Y.: Venue for a motion for return of seized property is where the property was seized

Venue for a motion for return of seized property is where the property was seized, here the E.D. N.Y. United States v. Collado, 2020 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 7873 (S.D. N.Y. Jan. 16, 2020).

Defense counsel wasn’t ineffective for not challenging the search warrant for his firearms since it was obvious defendant was a felon in possession. United States v. Ginn, 2020 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 7730 (W.D. Va. Jan, 16, 2020).*

Officers suspected defendant was involved in a string of robberies, and they applied for and obtained a court order for a GPS tracker for 30 days on his vehicle. In that 30 days, they tailed him, and he robbed a hair salon and they watched him do it. Then they found the proceeds in his car. State v. Dixon, 2020 Del. Super. LEXIS 26 (Jan. 10, 2020).*
