KUOW: 10,000 warrants in Seattle: Here’s a chance for some to avoid arrest by Patricia Murphy:
There are nearly 10,000 Seattle Municipal Court warrants out there right now. Some of those people got a chance Thursday to straighten things out – without being arrested. They were asked to come to the Yesler Community Center. No police, just an opportunity to meet with public defenders and court employees, get some advice, and get a court date.
