IL: PC for house comes from man leaving house in car registered at house to do a drug deal

There was a substantial basis for finding probable cause for a search warrant for defendant’s house where a man left the house to proceed directly to a drug transaction and the car was registered at that address. That’s sufficient nexus to the house. People v. Manzo, 2017 IL App (3d) 150264, 2017 Ill. App. LEXIS 641 (Oct. 6, 2017).

There was a substantial basis for reasonable suspicion to stop defendant’s vehicle that led to a DUI arrest. City of Helena v. Brown, 2017 MT 248, 2017 Mont. LEXIS 607 (Oct. 10, 2017).*
