CA10: Collective knowledge applies between state officers in different states

Kansas officers asked Nebraska officers to stop defendant, and the probable cause of the Kansas officers is imputed to Nebraska officers under the collective knowledge doctrine. United States v. Pickel, 2017 U.S. App. LEXIS 12858 (10th Cir. July 18, 2017).

Defendant’s search claim for 2255 was procedurally defaulted before it got to federal court. Rodriguez-Guaiquirian v. United States, 2017 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 111344 (N.D. Tex. June 10, 2017).*
