Philadelphia, PA (May 19, 2014) – Can the police search the digital contents of a cellphone without a warrant or does it violate the Fourth Amendment? As the Supreme Court prepares to rule in two cases about cell phone data search and seizure—Riley v. California and United States v. Participating in the discussion will be Stanford Law School Professor Jeffrey L. Fisher, a lead attorney in one of the cases. The program will take place on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 12 p.m. Admission is FREE, but reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 215-409-6700 or visiting constitutioncenter.org.
