CA3: Wiretap provided PC for automobile exception search

A wiretap caught defendant’s conversations and provided probable cause for the search of his car, and that included closed compartments and containers. United States v. Boyd, 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 16403 (3d Cir. September 15, 2015).

Driving with high beams on was an objectively reasonable basis for stop. State v. Lorenzo, 2015-Ohio-3737, 2015 Ohio App. LEXIS 3631 (5th Dist. September 14, 2015).*

Speeding caught on a calibrated radar device was an objectively reasonable basis for stop. State v. Willis, 2015-Ohio-3739, 2015 Ohio App. LEXIS 3634 (5th Dist. September 14, 2015).*
