ICE director Homan says they’re trained on the Fourth Amendment. If so, then that’s bad faith, not just incompetence.
Another thought: If the exclusionary rule is ever based on deterrence, what if the police don’t care whether they violate Fourth Amendment rights because that’s their marching orders?
