Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Public would be kept from getting police body camera footage under Wisconsin bill by Patrick Marley:

MADISON – Police body camera footage would be kept from the public in many cases, under a bill the state Assembly is to take up Thursday.

Rep. Jesse Kremer (R-Kewaskum) says his bill is meant to establish clear rules at a time when police departments around the state are increasingly equipping their officers with body cameras. He says Assembly Bill 351 will protect the rights of victims and witnesses after they live through traumatic experiences.
