Prosecutorial immunity for arrest: if no PC, no immunity

Two cases on prosecutorial immunity governing an arrest; one without immunity and one with, all turning on probable cause:

A prosecutor had no immunity for authorizing an arrest after reviewing the videotape of what was an apparent coerced confession and the arrest otherwise lacked probable cause. Harris v. Bornhorst, 2008 U.S. App. LEXIS 724, 2008 FED App. 0022P (6th Cir. January 14, 2008).*

A prosecutor had immunity where all the paperwork was in hand and clearly provided probable cause for plaintiff’s arrest. Youngblood v. McCastlain, 2008 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 2742 (E.D. Ark. January 14, 2008).*
