Columbus Dispatch: Supreme Court ruling on drug-dog searches should have little effect in Ohio

Columbus Dispatch: Supreme Court ruling on drug-dog searches should have little effect in Ohio by Alan Johnson:

Officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Columbus police said they already follow a procedure in which officers must have a reasonable suspicion about potential drug use after making a traffic stop before bringing in a drug-sniffing dog.
The State Highway Patrol won’t change how it uses 34 drug-sniffing dogs despite a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that law enforcement can’t turn routine traffic stops into drug searches.
