Capital (NYS): Torres says ‘Right to Know’ proposal misunderstood by Gloria Pazmino:
Councilman Ritchie Torres said Friday there is a “campaign” to misrepresent the purpose of his policing bill, called the Right to Know Act, which would require officers to get verbal or written consent before searching a person when there is no warrant or probable cause.
