NJ: Arrest on warrant but illegal entry into third party’s home does not justify suppression of otherwise valid statement

Entry into garage at defendant’s request to relay a message he had been arrested was not an investigative purpose and plain view sustained

Not TOO illegal detention led to defendant having wants and warrants run which led to an arrest warrant being found and a search incident led to drugs; the seizure was not so illegal that the detention should be suppressed

VA: Arrest for minor misdemeanor statutorily subject only to summons was invalid

Good faith exception cannot be raised by an appellate court sua sponte
