This morning I sought to link to Virginia v. Moore, 553 U.S. 164, 128 S. Ct. 1598, 1604, 170 L. Ed. 2d 559 (2008), for the following post. All three citations came back as “The motion of American Bar Association for leave to participate in oral argument as amicus curiae and for divided argument is denied,” not the opinion on the merits. See the prior post here.
Alas, the link on Google Scholar is wrong. I reported it. Now we’ll see how fast it is fixed.
Over the last couple of years I’ve built a 17 page document with hyperlinks to free SCOTUS Fourth Amendment opinions on Findlaw and the Court’s website. I haven’t made it a part of this website yet, but will. I was thinking about converting it to Google Scholar links because Scholar is faster. Now I’ll wait a while.
Update: After 5pm CDT I ran it again by case name without the citation, and the opinion came up second. Running the citation still brings up the wrong thing.
