Officer had qualified immunity for arresting plaintiff for violating a restraining order. Shroff v. Spellman, 599 F.3d 1119, 604 F.3d 1179 (10th Cir. 2010).*

Defendant was arrested in Rhode Island in a van after a warrant for her showed up from federal court in Minnesota for marriage fraud. She was asked whether she wanted to take any of her bags with her to the police station, and she identified two. After they got to the police station, the bags were inventoried and checked for weapons without reasonable suspicion. The searches were valid as an inventory. United States v. Huang, 2010 U.S. Dist.
