WaPo: Employees who decline genetic testing could face penalties under proposed bill

WaPo: Employees who decline genetic testing could face penalties under proposed bill by Lena H. Sun:

Employers could impose hefty penalties on employees who decline to participate in genetic testing as part of workplace wellness programs if a bill approved by a U.S. House committee this week becomes law.

So, the Republican Party wants to invade our bodies for genetic testing? How will this be resolved under Maryland v. King and the reasonable expectation of privacy in one’s own body? (See Treatise § 32.17) You want health insurance so we need to know your genetic makeup to price it or deny it? First women’s bodies, now everybody’s body.
