A review group President Barack Obama set up to suggest changes in the way the U.S. conducts electronic surveillance delivered its final report to the White House Friday, proposing a series of changes to programs thrust into the spotlight in recent months by ex-NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

Obama said recently that he will impose new “self-restraint” on the NSA. However, the administration’s official reaction to the report signaled the possibility that some of the panel’s recommendations will be rejected.
