Cir. hears appeal of the search of Rep. Jefferson&#8217;s office on Tuesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The D.C. Court of Appeals heard oral argument today in the case of the search of Rep. William Jefferson&#8217;s (D-LA) Congressional office, as shown on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2007\/05\/15\/AR2007051500214.html\">Washington Post&#8217;s website this afternoon<\/a>. The same article is on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/aponline\/us\/AP-FBI-Congress.html?_r=1&amp;oref=slogin\">NY Times website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Previous posts are here on the <a href=\"http:\/\/fourthamendment.com\/blog\/index.php?blog=1&amp;title=title_81&amp;more=1&amp;c=1&amp;tb=1&amp;pb=1\">search<\/a> and the District Court&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/fourthamendment.com\/blog\/index.php?blog=1&amp;title=title_29&amp;more=1&amp;c=1&amp;tb=1&amp;pb=1\">upholding the search<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One judge seemed troubled by the execution of the search.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Judge Judith W.
