And scary.<\/p>\n<p>For the past seven years, J.B. Hunt Transport Services of Lowell has gone above and beyond government requirements by testing the hair of driver applicants for long-term use of drugs that the required urine sample just won\u2019t catch.<\/p>\n<p>. . .<\/p>\n<p>J.B. Hunt rejected those drivers [testing positive], of course. And federal regulation allows trucking companies to share the results of urinalysis, so the 90 drug users caught that way were not likely to climb into the cab of any other company\u2019s big rig.<\/p>\n<p>But the federal government will not allow J.B. Hunt or other companies that use hair testing (including Maverick Transport of North Little Rock) to share those much more sensitive tests.
