The officer\u2019s use of the key fob alarm to find his car was not a search. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.search.txcourts.gov\/SearchMedia.aspx?MediaVersionID=2f625bf2-9008-446d-9cc8-7b7c4ace97c1&amp;coa=coa01&amp;DT=Opinion&amp;MediaID=12541a47-1e53-4679-98cc-2d2c7ede2391\">Wiley v. State<\/a>, 388 S.W.3d 807 (Tex. App. \u2013 Houston (1st Dist.) 2012).<\/p>\n<p>Trial counsel was not ineffective for not filing a motion to suppress cell site location information because of an alleged violation of statute or the Fourth Amendment. The CSLI was obtained by court order, and the later <a href=\"http:\/\/fourthamendment.com\/blog\/index.php?blog=1&amp;title=ca6_no_rep_in_cell_phone_location_data_c&amp;more=1&amp;c=1&amp;tb=1&amp;pb=1\">Skinner<\/a> case from the Sixth Circuit shows no Fourth Amendment violation. <a href=\"https:\/\/efast.gaappeals.us\/download?filingId=73eaacc8-fc37-4e5b-9643-f01db3e5c1f7\">Smarr v. State<\/a>, 317 Ga. App. 584, 732 S.E.2d 110 (2012).<\/p>\n<p>Defendant signed an acknowledgment that he was subject to searches while on post-prison release, and his probation officer had reasonable suspicion to search his computers when he found child pornography. United States v. Denton, 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 126762 (N.D. Ga.
