United States v. Ligambi, 886 F. Supp. 2d 492 (E.D. Pa. 2012):<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Nonetheless, the ultimate question is whether Defendant Massimino had a legitimate expectation of privacy in his outgoing non-privileged mail. The justification prison officials have to read \u2018disapproved correspondence\u2019 in light of the legitimate objectives of the prison system, substantially diminishes, if not eliminates, the actual expectation of privacy Defendant Massimino might have had in the contents of envelopes submitted for non-privileged mailing.
