Theng Yang<\/a>, 814 N.W.2d 716 (Minn. App. 2012).<\/p>\n<p>Defendant\u2019s stop was factually based and valid without regard to pretext. Because the trial court\u2019s suppression order was based on the finding of an illegal stop, the case is remanded for a determination of the independent basis for the inventory. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.courts.state.co.us\/userfiles\/file\/Court_Probation\/Supreme_Court\/Opinions\/2011\/11SA288.pdf\">People v.
