There was no lock on the desk. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.4dca.org\/opinions\/Jan%202012\/01-11-12\/4D09-2436.op.pdf\">Kelly v. State<\/a>, 77 So. 3d 818 (Fla. App. 4th DCA 2012).<\/p>\n<p>Defendant did not show that his stop was unreasonably prolonged for consent. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lexisone.com\/lx1\/caselaw\/freecaselaw?searchType=citation&amp;fclSearch=2012+Ga.+App.+LEXIS+19+&amp;action=FCLSearchCaseByCitation&amp;pageLimit=10&amp;format=CITE&amp;pageNumber=1&amp;sourceID=&amp;citation=2012+Ga.+App.+LEXIS+19+&amp;searchTerm=\">Sims v. State<\/a>, 313 Ga. App. 544, 722 S.E.2d 145 (2012)* [Note: This opinion is badly written and comes dangerously close to putting the burden on the defendant to show a warrantless detention was unreasonable.] <\/p>\n<p>The search of defendant\u2019s car was shown to be by consent, and the court does not accept that the atmosphere was generally coercive. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lexisone.com\/lx1\/caselaw\/freecaselaw?searchType=citation&amp;fclSearch=2012+Ga.+App.+LEXIS+13+&amp;action=FCLSearchCaseByCitation&amp;pageLimit=10&amp;format=CITE&amp;pageNumber=1&amp;sourceID=&amp;citation=2012+Ga.+App.+LEXIS+13+&amp;searchTerm=\">Berry v. State<\/a>, 2012 Ga. App. LEXIS 13 (January 12, 2012).*<\/p>\n<p>At least in the Sixth Circuit, municipal ordinances are subject to judicial notice, and the government didn\u2019t have to prove it as cause for a stop. There was cause to believe defendant violated a municipal ordinance for his stop. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca6.uscourts.gov\/opinions.pdf\/12a0025n-06.pdf\">United States v. Alexander<\/a>, 467 Fed.
