All that is required is the officer lawfully be on the premises. United States v. Crisolis-Gonzalez, 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 2568 (W.D. Mo. January 10, 2012).*<\/p>\n<p>Defendant\u2019s consent argument was off the mark: \u201cCrawford, largely ignoring the well-established vehicle exception to the warrant requirement, insists that the law enforcement officers were required to obtain his consent to search the vehicle. Crawford\u2019s motion to suppress fails for three reasons: 1) probable cause to search the vehicle; 2) consent of the lien holder; and 3) independent knowledge.\u201d United States v. Crawford, 2012 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 2336 (N.D. Ohio January 9,  2012).*<\/p>\n<p>Since the search incident in this case was four years before Gant, Gant doesn\u2019t even apply. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca6.uscourts.gov\/opinions.pdf\/12a0023n-06.pdf\">United States v.
