United States v. Rivas, 2011 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 57428 (D. Ariz. May 27, 2011).<\/p>\n<p>In a murder case, the defendant claimed that the warrant was invalid for a Franks violation because of a statement that somebody forged a signature to a car title. Removing that information from affidavit still left \u201coverwhelming\u201d probable cause for the search warrant. A search warrant is for collection of evidence, and it is not the place for the officer to make his or her case for arrest of the defendant. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jud.state.ct.us\/external\/supapp\/Cases\/AROap\/AP128\/128AP378.pdf\">State v. St. Louis<\/a>, 128 Conn.
