Then came defendant\u2019s statements based on the false search warrant affidavit. The trial court did not suppress, but the court of appeals reversed. App. LEXIS 232 (June 1, 2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Defense counsel wasn\u2019t ineffective for not challenging the search warrant for failure to corroborate the CI which might have succeeded alone, except there was a controlled buy, too, and that alone was enough.
