She and the driver were handcuffed and arrested. She was asked about her ID, and she said it was in her wallet in her purse in the passenger seat. The officer&#8217;s search of a small black bag within the purse that was not the wallet was unreasonable and invaded her reasonable expectation of privacy. The black bag obviously was not in plain view. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmcompcomm.us\/nmcases\/nmca\/slips\/CA29,436.pdf\">State v. Bond<\/a>, 150 N.M. 451, 2011 NMCA 36, 261 P.3d 599 (2011).*<\/p>\n<p>Defendant\u2019s Ohio parole officer had reasonable suspicion for a search of defendant\u2019s believed residence because the PO saw him come and go from there as a potential resident, and he was registered as living elsewhere. There was no legal requirement that his actual PO be the searcher; another could do it. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca6.uscourts.gov\/opinions.pdf\/11a0164n-06.pdf\">United States v. Davis<\/a>, 415 Fed.
