We must therefore vacate the District Court&#8217;s summary judgment order holding that Officer Williams had qualified immunity and that as a result, Ms. Khoury&#8217;s false arrest claim was barred.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/media.ca11.uscourts.gov\/opinions\/pub\/files\/201811430.pdf\">Khoury v. Miami-Dade County Sch. Bd.<\/a>, 2021 U.S. App. LEXIS 20070 (11th Cir. July 7, 2021).*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Plaintiff cursed a state trooper and was arrested for it. He prevailed on First and Fourth Amendment grounds, and he was awarded attorneys fees. The jury properly did not get a punitive damages instruction. <a href=\"http:\/\/media.ca8.uscourts.gov\/opndir\/21\/07\/193530P.pdf\">Thurairajah v. City of Fort Smith<\/a>, 2021 U.S. App. LEXIS 19778 (8th Cir. July 2, 2021).*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The First Circuit previously held that qualified immunity barred suit against officers entering an open door at a party with underage drinkers. Plaintiffs\u2019 request to revisit this under Caniglia v. Strom, 141 S. Ct. 1596 (2021), is denied. It doesn\u2019t change the court\u2019s thinking on qualified immunity. <a href=\"http:\/\/media.ca1.uscourts.gov\/pdf.opinions\/19-1677O-01A.pdf\">Castagna v. Jean<\/a>, 2021 U.S. App. LEXIS 19800 (1st Cir.
