Because the subject of the search was drugs and they were easily disposed of, the shortness of time was reasonable under the circumstances. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aoc.state.nc.us\/www\/public\/coa\/opinions\/2010\/pdf\/100009-1.pdf\">State v. Terry<\/a>, 207 N.C. App. 311, 699 S.E.2d 671 (2010).*<\/p>\n<p>Defendant drove a few inches over the fog line for an estimated 500&#8242;, and that justified the stop. The officer smelled raw marijuana, and that justified a search of the vehicle. <a href=\"http:\/\/courts.state.wy.us\/Opinions\/2010WY133.pdf\">Dods v. State<\/a>, 2010 WY 133, 240 P.3d 1208 (2010).*<\/p>\n<p>In a stop at 2:30 a.m., a dispatch report that the vehicle was likely involved in a shooting coupled with the motorist&#8217;s nervousness  justified a patdown of the driver.
