The defendant\u2019s motion for a supervisory writ is granted. The state\u2019s unsworn motion for DNA did not say why it needed it, and this  is insufficient. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.la4th.org\/pdf\/20100564DC%201.pdf\">State v. Franklin<\/a>, 46 So. 3d 814 (La. App. 4th Cir. 2010).*<\/p>\n<p>Defendant pleaded guilty to attempted murder. His argument on appeal that his motion to suppress the search of a black bag with drugs in it should have been granted was irrelevant to this case. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lacoa2.org\/Opinions%20PDF\/45298ka.pdf\">State v. Bass<\/a>, 47 So. 3d 541 (La. App. 2d Cir. 2010).*<\/p>\n<p>The defendant\u2019s girlfriend let the police search the defendant\u2019s storage unit. She had the key and the access code. It was reasonable for the police to believe that she had apparent authority to consent, and the trial court credited findings of consent. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca6.uscourts.gov\/opinions.pdf\/10a0476n-06.pdf\">United States v. Burcham<\/a>, 388 Fed.
