The company in question, Spycloud, boasts that offering cops access to pilfered datasets \u2014 which might hold victims\u2019 passwords, email addresses, credit card numbers, or, well, anything else that hackers might hack \u2014 is a way to \u201c[turn] the criminals\u2019 data against them.\u201d Snooping inside these datasets, they explained, could, hypothetically, give law enforcement agencies a lead that they might not have considered before.
