A truck driver called in to report it and that defendant had a gun in his lap. Then an accident occurred. The trial court erred in considering the truck driver as \u201canonymous\u201d and unworthy of credit. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lasc.org\/opinions\/2020\/20-0124.KK.PC.pdf\">State v. Jackson<\/a>, 2020 La. LEXIS 387 (Jan. 31, 2020).<\/p>\n<p>The fact an officer has state law authority to arrest throughout the county doesn\u2019t translate into state law authority to conduct warrantless searches there, too. The denial of qualified immunity here is fact dependent and the court has no jurisdiction to go further. <a href=\"http:\/\/media.ca11.uscourts.gov\/opinions\/unpub\/files\/201911492.pdf\">Robinson v.
