These controversial warrants force Google to hand over data on users who were close to the scene of a crime, even if they\u2019re innocent.<\/p>\n<p>Now a new report from The Verge has shown that this type of warrant was used once again by law enforcement officials in Wisconsin while investigating a bank robbery in November 2018.
