When he\u2019s unwilling or unable to locate it, that justifies a limited \u201cpinpoint\u201d search of the vehicle for the registration in the glove box or console. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.njcourts.gov\/attorneys\/assets\/opinions\/supreme\/a_23_16.pdf\">State v. Terry<\/a>, 2018 N.J. LEXIS 276 (Mar. 20, 2018). (If the driver says the registration is lost or forgotten, apparently officers can still search for it.)<\/p>\n<p>The affidavit for the search warrant adequately corroborated the CI. The informant\u2019s story also mentioned more than one sale from defendant\u2019s house, and that was enough to overcome defendant\u2019s staleness argument. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iowacourts.gov\/courtcases\/1133\/embed\/CourtAppealsOpinion\">State v. Frakes<\/a>, 2018 Iowa App. LEXIS 294 (Mar. 21, 2018).*<\/p>\n<p>There was implied consent to enter, and then actual consent on the totality. United States v. Morrison, 2018 U.S. Dist.
