In hot pursuit, officers narrowed down the search to one of four on the top floor and cracked the door looking for him. The court concludes officers had probable cause to believe he was in there. This was classic hot pursuit, and the entry was justified. United States v. White, 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 114319 (D.Utah May 15, 2016).<\/p>\n<p>The affidavit shows probable cause and nexus in a \u201cfood stamp\u201d fraud case for a search of the business and defendant\u2019s home. Conceding there may be a mistake in the affidavit concerning the breadth of defendant\u2019s business, it doesn\u2019t undermine the showing of probable cause. United States v. Gray, 2016 U.S. Dist.
