Moreover, his failure to join in a codefendant\u2019s argument was a waiver. He does, however, get a remand for a hearing on a search issue that arose mid-trial that wasn\u2019t anticipated. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.courts.state.ny.us\/reporter\/3dseries\/2016\/2016_02222.htm\">People v.
