But this time, instead of a sentence, he received an apology.<\/p>\n<p>Humphries served a roughly three-year term on drug convictions, which stemmed from a detective allegedly using fraudulent evidence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cApologies from all the system, I guess,\u201d said Circuit Judge William R. Marchant, appearing to struggle to find the right words for Humphries.
