Johannes<\/a>, 2015 Iowa App. LEXIS 25 (January 14, 2015).<\/p>\n<p>Officers assembled outside a hotel room after neighbors complained that there was yelling and screaming in the room and the word \u201cshoot\u201d was shouted. They called the room, and the occupant denied there was a woman inside, even though two checked in. He came out the door of the room and police rushed him. The entry into the room was based on reasonable suspicion and was a \u201cprotective search\u201d [sweep] for the apparent gun. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.iowacourts.gov\/About_the_Courts\/Court_of_Appeals\/Court_of_Appeals_Opinions\/Recent_Opinions\/20150114\/13-1605.pdf\">State v.
