This was not an unlawful search. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sconet.state.oh.us\/rod\/newpdf\/5\/2007\/2007-ohio-5256.pdf\">State v. Hawker<\/a>, 2007 Ohio 5256, 2007 Ohio App. LEXIS 4650 (5th Dist. October 1, 2007).*<\/p>\n<p>While a surveillance team was watching a house, they saw defendant&#8217;s vehicle, so they called in the license number and found that the owner&#8217;s driver&#8217;s license was suspended. They had verified information from a snitch that he would be in possession. When the vehicle left, they attempted to pull it over, and defendant got out and fled on foot. The officers had a basis for pulling him over. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sconet.state.oh.us\/rod\/newpdf\/6\/2007\/2007-ohio-5316.pdf\">State v.
