The Illinois ACLU is suing Ardis on behalf of Jon Daniel for violating Daniel\u2019s First and Fourth Amendment rights, after Ardis ordered police to raid his home.<\/p>\n<p>Peoria police executed a search warrant on Daniel\u2019s home under orders from Ardis two months after Twitter suspended the @Peoriamayor parody account, which Daniel created. Police raided the home, confiscated several computers and smartphones and detained five people. Michelle Pratt, who told reporters she \u201cwas brought in like a criminal,\u201d was detained for several hours.
