When defendant made two traffic violations, his stop was valid and reasonable suspicion existed to extend the stop. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isc.idaho.gov\/opinions\/39908.pdf\">State v. Widner<\/a>, 2013 Ida. App. LEXIS 89 (December 10, 2013).*<\/p>\n<p>The CI here gave probable cause for defendant\u2019s stop, not just reasonable suspicion, and the officer was also authorized to do a patdown on what he knew. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fifthcircuit.org\/PDF\/OPINIONS\/PO\/2013\/FCA9096F-8DC8-48BF-AD22-8AC5E66B4DA8.pdf\">State v. Cole<\/a>,  128 So. 3d 649 (La. App. 5 Cir. 2013).*<\/p>\n<p>No cause of action was stated against the defendant hospital for participating in a search and seizure on its premises. \u201cThere were no allegations of any factual or legal basis for liability against Desoto Regional for purported violations of Louisiana law or the Fourth Amendment for search and seizure.\u201d Also, [in passing] the USMJ upheld the search in federal court [so why not collateral estoppel?]. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.la3circuit.org\/Opinions\/2013\/12\/121113\/13-0639opi.pdf\">Miller v.
