In 2007, the TLC required all cabbies to install GPS or Global Positioning System devices to monitor their locations, speed and meters while they\u2019re driving.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>My <a href=\"http:\/\/fourthamendment.com\/blog\/index.php?blog=1&amp;title=nys_tlc_uses_gps_to_nab_overcharging_cab&amp;more=1&amp;c=1&amp;tb=1&amp;pb=1\">last post about TLC&#8217;s GPS monitoring was back in September 2010<\/a>. Are taxicabs \u201chighly regulated\u201d for fare ripoffs?
