That was essentially a moot argument because, once the police were inside, he said he owned the place, and he consented and cooperated with the police. All this happened before the officers saw any evidence of crime. \u201cMr. Lucas&#8217;s consent to the officers&#8217; presence and search was sufficient to dissipate any taint caused by an illegal initial entry. See <a href=\"http:\/\/scholar.google.com\/scholar_case?case=7822085860372487075&amp;q=537+F.3d+1256&amp;hl=en&amp;as_sdt=2,4\">U.S. v. Jarvi<\/a>, 537 F.3d 1256, 1260 (10th Cir. 2008).\u201d <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca10.uscourts.gov\/opinions\/11\/11-6151.pdf\">United States v. Lucas<\/a>, 477 Fed. Appx. 486 (10th Cir. 2012).*<\/p>\n<p>The state showed that the inventory search of defendant\u2019s car was necessary to log the valuables, and defendant did not show that it was in bad faith, so he does not prevail. <a href=\"http:\/\/opinions.aoc.arkansas.gov\/WebLink8\/ElectronicFile.aspx?docid=284015&amp;&amp;dbid=0\">Boykin v.
