Body<\/a>, 2012 Ohio 379, 2012 Ohio App. LEXIS 318 (10th Dist. February 2, 2012):<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>[*P18]  Federal courts have also recognized that &#8220;simply calling out to someone to come over to talk does not constitute a seizure.&#8221; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca6.uscourts.gov\/opinions.pdf\/12a0011n-06.pdf\">United States v. Brown<\/a> (C.A.6, 2012),  447 Fed. Appx. 706, citing <a href=\"http:\/\/scholar.google.com\/scholar_case?case=7410187475087823047&amp;q=278+F.3d+560&amp;hl=en&amp;as_sdt=2,4\">United States v. Matthews<\/a> (C.A.6, 2002), 278 F.3d 560, 562. In Brown, the officer &#8220;holler[ed] for [the defendant] to come here,&#8221; at which point the defendant turned his car around. The Sixth Circuit relied on its earlier decision in Matthews where it found that the statement, &#8220;Hey, buddy, come here,&#8221; did not constitute a stop because the addressee could have &#8220;politely declined to do so, and walked away.&#8221; Id., citing Matthews, 278 F.3d at 562; see also <a href=\"http:\/\/scholar.google.com\/scholar_case?case=7792404294392064422&amp;q=537+F.3d+951&amp;hl=en&amp;as_sdt=2,4\">United States v.
