Under New York law, defendant consented to a parole search by accepting parole. His arrest did not elevate him to the status of a non-parolee subject to greater Fourth Amendment protection. The parole officer was still entitled to search the defendant&#8217;s property. Suppression reversed. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca2.uscourts.gov\/decisions\/isysquery\/018f6fff-3902-4f5d-8489-e86cbdd7a22b\/1\/doc\/10-3700_opn.pdf#xml=http:\/\/www.ca2.uscourts.gov\/decisions\/isysquery\/018f6fff-3902-4f5d-8489-e86cbdd7a22b\/1\/hilite\/\">United States v. Barner<\/a>, 666 F.3d 79 (2d Cir. 2012).*<\/p>\n<p>Where statements were made two months after the allegedly illegal search, the statements were clearly attenuated from the allegedly illegal search. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ca11.uscourts.gov\/unpub\/ops\/201111218.pdf\">United States v.
