West<\/a>, 2026 Ga. App. LEXIS 11 (Jan. 9, 2026). [Not much analysis here. The strongest argument is that the police had to be let in. Other tenants would be around, but not the public.]<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The motion to suppress wasn\u2019t timely and should be denied for that reason alone. On the merits anyway, it is denied because defendant\u2019s gun was visible from outside the car, and the police could seize it under the community caretaking function. United States v. Bradley, 2026 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 2741 (S.D. Ill. Jan. 7, 2026).*<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe body camera videos do not \u2018blatantly contradict\u2019 the district court&#8217;s findings that officers continued to use force after McCoy was subdued.\u201d They get qualified immunity.
