They were canaries in the coal mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soon after that, NBC News dropped a remarkable report revealing that federal judges across the country\u2014appointed by both Democratic and Republican presidents, including Trump\u2014are openly criticizing the Supreme Court\u2019s handling of emergency cases.
